I don't know what came over me to start making soap at 2am.
I wanted to break some rules I think.
Turned on the music, threw together a new base recipe that seems quite nice.
I haven't used many colorants so wanted to experiment. Right away I was disappointed because my red went brown, my blue went green, pink turned orange... Now, I only wish I had fillled a deeper mold.
I was done around 3:30 am and went to bed. I woke at 7:30 and it was set and ready to cut with some new colors.

The scent is a FO combo of musk, cedar and saffron. More commonly known as Muskoka Boathouse. It's refreshing. One of my new ones.
