The thin layer of silver inside the Pringles can is aluminum foil. Aluminum reacts with NaOH to form hydrogen gas, sodium aluminate, and heat. It's the hydrogen gas that worries people because it can explode. Obviously you didn't run into that problem. 
The wrinkles in the soap might come from the extra heat released by the reaction.
Sodium aluminate is a fairly safe chemical; it's even used to treat drinking water for cities. Most of this chemical would be on the freezer paper or inside the can, but even if a bit is on your soap, I'd not worry about it. I would use the soap!
