Peppermint EO *literally* sticking

Hey CP soap friends,

Years ago I made a peppermint eo oatmeal cp soap and I literally had to get a crowbar to get it out of my molds! I never wanted to make it again, but I had customers who wanted it, so I lined my molds with freezer paper every time I made that batch and that was the only way I could get it out. Then I phased it out as there was less interest. But today I have a customer who wants a pink peppermint soap for a baby shower favor. So my question is, has anyone else had this problem? I'm not sure if it was just the peppermint eo, or the eo combined with the oatmeal that was the problem. I know it was not the oatmeal itself because I use the same colloidal oatmeal for my oatmeal milk & honey soap & that comes out just fine. It's such a pain to have to line my molds with freezer paper, so I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem??

I use peppermint EO from Bramble Berry frequently and have never had that problem you describe. It's the only EO I use at the light amount suggested by Find Free Essential Oil Blends - Modern Soapmaking because it's tingly.
