i just did a 1/2 recipe w/ paprika as the colorant. i had my mold prepared and lined w/ small bubble wrap. i think it's going to be cool. only regret i have in hind sight is that i should have done it in more of a loaf type pan. i bought a nice shaped plastic container at walmart for 97 cents (!!) and poured into that. the layer is thin. i didn't realize how much the container held. would have worked better for a full recipe rather than a 1/2. pix to follow.
