oxides liquid colorant

I am looking to purchase the liquid colorants for swirling, was wondering if this is a good choice.
Natures Garden has them.

When I started soapmaking I used those colorants and they work just fine, although I now pretty much use micas exclusively. I purchase micas from Nurture Soap Supply or Micas and More during her once a month sale

I too have used those colorants, they work find but are expensive in comparison to purchasing micas. I use the same suppliers as cmzaha. TKB Trading has some great colors too.

When buying from TKB trading check if they are high ph stable, unless they have changed many of their micas are not cp stable. They are more of a cosmetic supplier not soap supplier.

I use micas from Nuture soap I also use natural colorants for example charcoal, cocoa powder, and clays.

The oxides and other colorants from Nature's Garden are an easy way to get started -- not too much colorant, not super expensive, nice little dropper bottle. I learned how to swirl soap using these colorants and was pretty happy with this approach. Just be sure to shake the bottles well before use -- pigment colorants like these tend to settle over time.

If they still have the Burgundy color it was always a great color for wine soap
