Canada, eh!
Hi all!

I am so interested in the art of soap making but am feeling overwhelmed by the initial start-up costs and the process! Am looking forward to trying my first soap project!

Hello and welcome to the forum! Start with melt and pour soap, it's a great introduction into soaping and gives instant gratification. There are kits you can buy at places like "Michaels".

Hi Buddha. I too am new. I started w/some M&P a few weeks ago after reading about soaping for a few months. I just tried CP today. I spent about $80 total on all my supplies between Goodwill type places & dollar stores. The most expensive stuff was my oils to make the soap. I suggest you get a kit from Michaels to see how you like it & then slowly collect supplies if you want to try CP soaping.
