ordering directly from SFIC

tried to get an idea from hem how much to ship to the east coast...no luck on the phone or via e mail...wanted to find out as well what their requirements were to order beyond the 500 dollar minimum...anyone care to share their experiences with them?

I had a online chat with them a week or so ago. I was going to place a fairly large order for a newbie and wanted to inquire about the free shipping after you spend a certain amount. Because I'm in Illinois they re-directed me to their parent store Chemistry which of course didn't have the same offer. Needless to say with the cost of shipping heavy items, I'm still just holding on to my money!! The shipping rates in this industry leave a lot to be desired.
