I wanted to try my new cavity mold, and the different types of tops you can do with it. This is a pretty standard recipe plus goat's milk powder, shea butter, and hemp oil. Its scented with tenfold orange, plus a small amount of neroli FO and black tea FO. I poured the leftovers into a single cavity mold which has a 3D chrysanthemum on it. Hopefully I can wait at least 24 hours to unmold.

I bet the fragrance is delicious. Your mold looks like the one I got from Brambleberry.com.

looks fabulous. By the way that looks like the exact same mold I use for my salt bars. I have yet to try anything other than salt bars in it but it works flawlessly for them and I love it!

Hehe, thanks! I do wish the cavities were a little bigger. I prefer a big soap. But the small bars are a lot cheaper for playing around with.

I never know what to do with textured tops so these look like strudels to me. :) What really happened was that I poured in from two sides to get a dual color, but by the fifth cavity or so it was too thick and my swirl wasn't happening. So the last five soaps some extra gloop on top and a different style.
