hello, I am new and have yet to make my first cp soap. I am trying to gather all the info so I will be ready. I love the fancy soaps posted on YouTube. They show them making them but not how they insulate. My question is for the soaps that go above the top of your mold, how do you I insulate them. And pictures would help out greatly also. Thanks in advance!!

You can cobble a V frame around the mold with two large cookie sheets. You can then cover that frame with bath towels. Or use a cardboard box to put over the top of the mold, insulating box and all with bath towels.

Thanks lsg. I had thought of a cardboard box over it, but was not sure if it would be enough. Thanks again!

I use wooden molds and my very talented DH made lids for me that accommodated my crazy tops.
