Old glycerine

a friend gave me a bottle of glycerine with a 9/2017 best by date. Should I pitch it? It’s best by. It looks just fine. Can glycerine go bad? I only use it in shave soap for now. What else can I use it in. It’s never been opened and it’s 12 oz

It should be fine. I've got glycerin that's 2-3 years old and it's fine. As long as it doesn't smell off.

As long as there is no mold or off smell, then I would use it.

Yep, no funky smell or off color and it should be fine!
