These sound magic!!!!I totally agree!! I’ve been using Kokum butter since I started formulating. But have you tried Illipe butter? I just made some soap and an emulsified body butter with it. The soap still curing, but the body butter is fantastic!
Right??!! Care to share all the deets?@Zing I want to tell you that I made your lotion bars and they are amazing! Thanks so much, definitely a wonderful product! I experimented with different oils and butters but they are ALL excellent!
I find Kokum and Illipe to be pretty interchangeable (maybe the kokum is a little more creamy feeling) but I have a large box of Kokum and only a small tub of Illipe so the kokum goes into everything!!I totally agree!! Your friend probably might not have access but there are some amazing new injections (they target very specific parts of the immune system unlike those of years ago that wiped the entire immune sys out) that are great for plaque psoriasis but I believe most of them need very good health insurance b/c they're really expensive. Skyrizi is one that I've heard good things about but it's something like $1K a dose in the USA.Thank you ... he puts up with me, so yeah haha.
I really appreciate this information. A relative has very severe psoriasis and now has steroid shots. Those butters are less commonly found here, but I'll definitely keep a look out.
They are very close. I did a side by side (one leg and one arm) comparison and thought the Illipe made my skin softer but maybe that’s just a personal preference.I find Kokum and Illipe to be pretty interchangeable (maybe the kokum is a little more creamy feeling) but I have a large box of Kokum and only a small tub of Illipe so the kokum goes into everything!!

Mango butter & hempseed oil with lemongrass EO. The Beeswax & Vitamin e oil of course. Going to have to put this in a tin rather than bars. I have hot hands so they melt a little moving them and packaging. Everyone that has tried it likes them.Right??!! Care to share all the deets?
I've moved from tins to mini-deo containers to allow for direct application to the desired area, with no residue left on fingers (unless you choose to massage it in). WSP has some on closeout right now that are a good price if you buy 48 of them.Mango butter & hempseed oil with lemongrass EO. The Beeswax & Vitamin e oil of course. I was wrong about the price. A client of my hairdresser (whom I saw yesterday!) told me that her client has two injections a year and her insurance pays $18K (US dollars!) per injection. That's Eighteen Thousand dollars!! Insane! But her plaque psoriasis was really bad and is now gone and no side effects. Hopefully meds like those get cheaper in the near future!Wow…
