:? :? Looking for oils that are non-clogging for facial moisturizer. I know Jojoba is one but there must be more.

TIA

Chris

Shea Butter is not on that list - do you know if it is skin clogging? My feeling is that it should be just fine, but it would be nice to know for sure.

You're welcome dagmar. I am glad I can help.

Lindy everything I've read says that shea butter is considered to be non-comedogenic. But I have also read that some people seem to be sensitive to it.

Hey Chris...just thought I would put my 2 cents in... as far as non-clogging oils goes.. I think that link from soapnuts explains it well... notice a trend... as the oils move up the scale from not clogging to high clogging probability...they get more saturated along the progression....less saturated oils will be less cloggin to pores IMO...

As for Jojoba...it is actually not an oil, but a liquid wax derived from the Jojoba shrub... pretty cool :)....

for more info on Jojoba see the PDF below: (warning science heavy...)

I've never had that problem, is it possible that your oil is rancid?

The benefits are extensive, there is heaps and heaps of information on the web, here is just one link, but there are many more. It is truly a wonderful oil, especially for mature skin
