Genny, have you noticed that when you CPOP, any hills/valleys you created in your soap tops tends to flatten out? Or is it just me?

I haven't had any problems that I've noticed.

Christinak have you tried spritzing with rubbing alcohol? I think that it can also depend on your oils. My soaps are very OO heavy which may have some bearing on it....

I've made a batch once with 90% OO in a 12 cavity mold and after unmolding it created a lot of ash. Didn't use alcohol though, does that really help?
Only made a couple of batches myself and insulated one of them. This one formed a little ash on the sides after unmolding. Looks like my soaps are prone to forming ash
