Here are some of my first soap experiments:

The brown cupcake base is 75% lard, 25% coconut oil, 5% SF and some cocoa powder. I did CPOP and managed to overheat it and had to scrape the top off. Better luck next time.

The cupcake topping is whipped soap: 70% coconut oil, 30% olive oil, with 20% SF. It was great fun, and I am so happy with how it looks (I think I have tried piping once as a child, but it turned out it was quite easy).

In the two-colour cupcake I added cocoa powder to some of the whipped soap.

The soap bar in the background is a Bastille with 80 % olive oil, 20% coconut oil and a bit of cocoa powder for the swirls.

Can't wait to try it!

They all look great but I especially love the swirled one. Looks like it came out of a soft serve ice cream machine!

I kept waiting for you to mention that the one on the right was a cupcake you baked! It really looks edible. Very nice work. :D

Chocolate cupcakes with white icing are my favorites. Yours looks totally real, including having paper. Amazing.

Thanks a lot. I am happy you like it :)
Yes, I am new at this. My first batch was with stuff I had in the fridge. Lesson learnt: Never, ever, make soap with butter! It stinks!
Batch two was a Castille, batch three was the brown cupcake base, batch four the Bastille in the back and batch five the whipped soap. No reason not to dive in at the deep end :)
