Newbie soap maker

I am interested in making my own soap. I have been buying shea butter soap for the past 6 mths. I love the way it makes my skin feel and I have gotten many complements on my complection. My fiance suggested that I start making my own soap for myself and the family. I am new at this and I don't know where to begin. I thought about making shea butter soap, but I want to add different fragrances to it. ( I have used lavender and clean cotton scented shea butter soap) If someone could give me a easy/beginers recipe for shea butter soap I would greatly appreciate it. Keep in mind I want to add different scents. I would also like a good inexpensive website to go to, so I could purchase supplies. I am starting out with nothing. Thank you so much for any help. :?:

If you do a search on google for "shea butter soap recipes" I'm sure you'll come up with ton of results. You can try this site for a start http://www.millersoap.com I'm not sure which state you hail from, but again a quick search for handmade soap supplies in or around your state should get you on your way.
