Chrissy - no big deal - I've just become one so really didn't miss anything - if anything you've got a good eye....

IanT I add sugar, honey, castor, powdered (icing) sugar plus of course now I have my silk in every bar..... I so love the moisturizing effect of the basic bastille and then the variations of it.

Carebear - I love my Castille and I actually am out so I need, need to get some more made for my March shows - in fact I had better prioritize that one right now (note to self - MAKE CASTILLE THIS WEEK!!! - there that should do it)

I normally do either 100% OO or 90%OO/10% castor but tonight I made 85% OO/10% CO/5% castor with buttermilk.

I hate castiles - the wait to see just what I really truly have just kills me

Pardon the semi-hijack, I upped my lye solution to 40% lye solution.....it really speeded things up on my castile as far as trace and hardening.

I would suggest that, but I'm also hesitant to recommend it with someone new....personally I would dump the blended oil and stick to a more traditional blend.
