New mini-column mold?

Soapy peeps: I got my first mini-column mold today from Brambleberry and am super stoked. Am anxious to make moonscape soaps. I can figure out the volume. But my question is, on using embeds. How long after making the column soap can I insert it into a loaf mold? 24 hours later? Thanks!

I'd say as soon as you can unmold it. If you have to wait between unmolding and making the soap to embed it in, wrap it in plastic wrap so it won't dry out.

I'm looking to do my first column mold at the request of my wife. I always CP soap so can I just CP the column mold the day before? Any tips?

I'm really not sure the best process tbh.

Yes. There's really nothing to it. I've even used an embed that was made months prior and it was fine. Don't overthink it. Your soap will be great
