They really are lovely pictures. But you might consider what it is you want the pics to feature - because the focus of many doesn't seem to be on the soap.

WOW!!!!

I'm going to be doing a North Carolina theme with a focus on the Crystal Coast.

Those are absolutely gorgeous photos. What kind of camera, settings, lighting, etc.? I'm getting frustrated with my photos because I can't get the close up clarity and details with my Sony Cybershot. Of course I know almost nothing about how to use a camera.

Hey beachgurl, would you be able to post the name of each soap?

The apple set up is brilliant...the home style apple pie red check cloth is an awesome backdrop...

Another cool idea is contrast, where instead of matching the exact type of soap with the accessorizing theme...you could integrate colors that are opposite or even neutral to allow the soap to basically, sell itself?

Good job chick!

Bubble .. first one is apple jack & peel, second one is cinnamon buns (but it just smells like cinnamon), the third is pom/peach, and the last is rosemary mint ... thanx for the photo tips ... i'm so horrible at taking pictures but my friend has been helping me ... this part is more difficult than actually making the soap!!

BTW everyone (sorry it's been a long week) .. thanx so much for your honest feedback ... I appreciate all of your time and consideration. You're all wonderful :D

The pictures were wonderful. I had to go get an apple after seeing that first one.

The thing I hate the most about some websites is when the same photo is used to represent different types of soap.

I do think that for the photo with the rose petals that the soap seems to be hiding behind them.

Great job....I hope to have photos that nice some day.

I see what you're saying with the mint .. (sad thing is that's my favorite bar .. creamy and simple). I really appreciate all the feedback .. you guys are awesome.
