Here is my third attempt at swirling. Did in the pot since in the box did not work well. This is Pixie Dust FO from MMS.

This is my fourth attempt - in the pot. Paradise FO from MMS

They both smell wonderful.

Sorry the pics are weird, trying to figure out the uploading of pictures.

Very nice. Maybe I'll try it in the pot. I'm a new soapmaker and have always done it in the mold. I am having no luck with color now. What kind of color do you use?

Yesterday I made one that was supposed to be blue and it came out kind of light pink!! I'm wondering if it was the virgin olive oil. Any clues anybody? I NEED HELP WITH COLOR! :(

I used Labcolor from Brambleberry. The first soap was Flamingo and the other berry red. Some of the labcolors are made for high PH like in CP but the color doesn't always come out like I envisioned. They are wonderful though. A little goes a long way. I just used vibrant orange yesterday and today it looks like a reddish, watermelon color. Oh well. Once I know what color they cure to, I can plan accordingly.
And in the pot swirling has worked better for me as a newbie.

This batch looks amazing...I like the magenta tone, very rich without being too bright.
