I did a lot of experimenting and some (most) of the lotion bars I first made were too greasy. I adjusted some things, and then the lotion bars were too draggy on the skin. My current recipe sinks into the skin with a gentle, powdery feel. I love these. Try it and let me know what you think.

Mango butter 30g

Beeswax 32g

Jojoba 15g

IPM 15g

Cetyl Alcohol 10g

Dimethicone 2g

Vit E (one big drop)

Fragrance 3g

(This ends up being 107g, so you have to mess around with it a bit if you want true percentages.)

Thanks for sharing that. I prefer not to use ‘cones, but I do love IPM (and jojoba), and I do have all the other ingredients on hand. Hoping to spend a good part of today making things in my craft room, so I may give this a whirl. 😊

Thank you for sharing your recipe!

Edited to add:
Here are the percentages:

28% Mango Butter
29.9% Beeswax
14% Jojoba
14% IPM
9.3% Cetyl Alcohol
1.9% Dimethicone
2.8% Fragrance
Vitamin E

A product like NatraSil (Lotioncrafter) or Abyssinian oil may work in place of the Dimethicone.

I typically stick with 1% or less fragrance in my cream and lotion recipes.

I will reformulate my recipe and remove the dimethicone and juggle the grams to equal 100 and see how that works!
Possible replacements for dimethicone a small amout of glycerin or squaline.
