thanks Jacki, I purchased my soap mold from ebay. I have two of them and love them! It is called the NO LINER Soap Mold for 18 bars. I still line my bottom with parchment paper but no the sides.

That PDF file really is help in explaining all there is to know on how to mix all these Colorants. I wish that I had seen it before I made such a mess. I was on the right track but I don’t think I had mixed my colorants well enough.

This is a raw cut - I havent trimmed up the edges any - still a tad soft, but i know it will be a hard bar- so I cut it as soon as I could!!

Smells so good - its a very white bar

Those cut bars are looking mighty fine MK…what a wonderful job you did on your first swirls…':wink:'

I emailed TKB..the people I bought my Colorant Sampler from and they gave me a few hints on how to mix my colorants into my CP soap. Their basically saying that since my small containers of liquid colorants are all mixed with Glycerin which is water soluble, they should be mixed in any water phase of my soap making, including @ Trace. Glycerin is not an oil soluble solution apparently.
That’s one thing I did do incorrectly…I mixed the colorants in more glycerin and OIL ...
I can’t wait to try another batch and give those swirls another go…maybe toward the end of the week. I'll be sure to post a couple of photos of my better batches. '' Thanks again for your input and encouragement.
