I'm trying to get my wife to "do the math" and realize that she could potentially make more per hour of time spent soaping than she does standing on her feet in her part-time retail fashion job. This could be a business that we build and run together, and by retirement we could have built it into something substantial enough to supplement our income.

Thank you very much. I’m thinking of seeing how close I can come to replicating it. Consistency is one of my goals in soapmaking this year. Ive honestly never even TRIED to make the same bars twice, because I sort of love the idea that each batch is unique. But sometimes when I produce a really nice bar, it would be really nice to think I could do it again.
