Midwest sky

[Zing]

Here's my soap from yesterday. I frequently drive through southwest Minnesota and like how the cloudy sky looked with the corn fields below. And because I'm a soaper, of course I was inspired to make a soap out of the image. Scented with bergamot and cedarwood. Colored with turmeric and mica. Swirled gently with a gear tie. Thanks for looking.

Omg I love the colors and your inspiration! The blueish color on top is like puffy, wispy clouds.

I just got my first gear tie and can't freakin wait. No more straw and plastic covered hanger for me!

I have no secrets. The gray is pewter silver mica from Bramble Berry. Gold is turmeric.

This time I did 1/2 tsp ppo because I liked the color. I've done as much as 1 tsp ppo.

Looks great @Zing! The muted pastel colors and texture of the colors made me think of Vincent Van Gogh's paintings. I also really like how you tied it to an actual experience which inspired you! It makes the soap not just soap, but art!
