Hello everyone!
I did do some research on the forum and elsewhere but I'm looking to get some more opinions on where to get Micas, TD/pigments, and FO's from. Bramble Berry is having a sale on micas right now and I was going to get a couple of sampler packs and then saw some comments of how they aren't very good. So I'm looking for any and all input on the best places to get stuff.
Thank You!

I can't speak to Brambleberry as I've never used their micas or colorants. I get mine from Micas and More, Nurture Soap and TKB Trading. Some use Mad Micas but I haven't used them.

FO's - Nurture Soap, Nature's Garden, WSP, Elements Bath & Body, Rustic Escentuals, Fragrance Buddy, Just Scents, Micas and More (limited selection but nice fragrances)....there's a bunch out there now.

For micas, in the US I recommend mad micas and nurture soap hands down. I have heard good things about some TKB colors (and their prices are great).

Fragrances there are just too many suppliers to choose from! I tend to gravitate towards WSP, but as time goes on, I am starting not to like their fragrances very much. They do have some I really like still, but I feel like everything I've picked lately has struck out. I was a bit of a snob about Nature's garden a while ago, but I plan to revisit them. Brambleberry for me is too expensive when factoring in shipping but I did like the majority of fragrances I got from there, I may have to revisit them as well. Nurture is okay...I don't know, everyone else is so wowed by them and I'm just kind of meh. Nothing I've got from them is very strong except one apple fragrance that I've received as a sample (I'm growing increasingly interested in playing with candles so it's kind of important to me that the fragrances have a stronger smell because I feel like they'll do better in candles...I don't know, I'm a noob at that). I'm in a FO group on Facebook and now I have several other suppliers I want to try, so...pray for my wallet.

I do want to edit: I only use pthalate free fragrances, so I do tend to choose my brands based on transparency regarding that which some of the indie fragrance suppliers don't really say.

Thank you!! I will look into these. I did notice that there are sooooo many places to choose FOs from. I will be using phthalate free as well, so I will keep that in mind!
Edit: Do they usually say that they're phthalate free or do you have to search through the descriptions and such?

Ooooh, these are so pretty! Ive been experimenting with natural colorants which I like for the most part but the colors just don't stay or they aren't as bright as I'd like them to be.
I think I'm definitely going to go ahead with the samplers from BB and then go from there. This is starting to become the most expensive hobby I've ever had. Hahah.

Most mica suppliers have sample sizes. I recommend getting a few and see how you like them before you dive in. I ordered a ton of mad mica samples and then went back for more on what I loved. I've done the same on TKB and Nurture.

Look for sample sales on FO. I ordered a ton last year at Rustic Escentuals and again when back and ordered larger quantities of the ones I loved.

I use BB’s Micas with no issues.

Usually there is a section where it will say in the description, but it is not hard to find. If I have to go searching, I tend just to forget about it and pick somewhere else.
