Another option for people who wear glasses would be the plastic face shields worn by dental and medical workers....
Agreed, and even the ones with the plastic band around the top (as opposed to the pseudo-glasses version) provide a better seal against those kinds of splashes, as well. These are fine for splashes that come straight into the face, but some splashes can hit the crown of the head and then drip down into the face and eyes. A chemical face shield that curves over the top of the head is designed to give better protection against this type of splash.
@josianeg Please get eye protection. I wear goggles if there's any chance of lye or raw soap batter getting into my eyes. Having worn contacts for the past 30 years, I know exactly how sensitive my eyes are and the thought of lye in my eye is the stuff of nightmares.

Hi!
I have eye protection, but the wear over your glasses kind of protective glasses.
The thing is have myopia so bad that I absolutely need to wear my glasses in order to see what I’m doing...
I looked a bit on Amazon Canada and even if some products claim they fit over glasses, reviews say they don’t. Can anyone recommend a type of goggles that I can wear over my glasses? The frame isn’t huge, but not very little either.
I can't tell if it's available in Canada or not, but I bought this:Hi!
