How do you do it agriffin? Everything you touch turns to gold....
Great post. Thanks for sharing.

Oh no, that's not true! I've got failed batches and gallons of sludge and lip balms that are too hard to use...and...you should see my shelf of failure...lol. This certainly is an expensive hobby!

ok amanda~ i tried this and i just set the soap on the counter to cool off. i cut the recipe in half cuz i was experimenting. i used a mix of all different colors of left over shreds and scented it with cloves and apple FOs. so far it looks good and i am so excited! i will post pics once it is finished. thanks so much for sharing this!! :D

ETA~ok it is cooled off and is solid? like the consistency of jelly.... so i add more water? any idea what i did wrong?

I love this idea, but it didn't work well for me. The soap remained fluid for a few weeks, but then thickened and clogged the pump dispenser. I reheated it, added water, and stick blended. It was a much lighter color after that, but it did make it fluid again for a few weeks. Eventually, however, it did thicken up again and clog the dispenser. I'm certainly no expert on this, but I just wanted to share my experience.

i just whipped the goo into a thick creamy body butter texture and put it in a jar. it still bubbles and is still soap but now it is like shaving creamy only thicker
