Ladies and gentlemen, you know all your soap dishes are overflowing with product. Let's see them! I'll start. This is one of two by the kitchen sink.

Lol. It's almost gone. I use it all the time and I love it! Those cranberries seeds are my world.
The white scrap is my rosehip-jasmine salt bar that broke apart but good lord, does it lather up nicely and feel good on my skin.
(Obsidian's anise pumice, down to a sliver in my shower, not shown)

Five full bars! Jen pulls ahead and races toward the too-much-soap finish line.

So we're doing this by category? Here's my shave soaps.

Actually I am just a little too embarrassed to show you how I store my active bath soaps.

Current shower collection... I planned on switching a few out this weekend for my soap swap soaps but kind of want to hoard them all to myself...they are so wonderful I don't want to share!

My current shower collection. I must admit we have a student at the moment, so I did tidy up some of my smaller scraps as they kept falling through the wire trays! Then I just haaad to get out more soaps!!!! Edit to say that I also have a few more dishes at the end of the bath filled with soaps. Can you ever have too many?

I love this thread!! I've only just started soaping, but I can already see that I will need more soap trays! ImageUploadedBySoap Making1423321764.371681.jpg

This doesn't include the salt bar the dish above.... or the soaps in the shower. My mood dictates which bar I use. I'm sure I have a problem.

What a fun thread!

My shower, kitchen sink, and both bathroom sinks used to be piled with gobs and gobs of different soaps, but I've since cut things down drastically to the gratefulness of my hubby, who was beginning to feel a bit overwhelmed by them all. lol

-I keep only 5 soap bars in my shower now- each on their own dish out of reach of any water spray;
-I keep 2 bars by the sink in the master bathroom (my bar and his bar, both on separate dishes);
-2 in the guest bathroom (my creamy cocoa-shea liquid soap, and a bar soap on a dish);
-and I keep 3 by the kitchen sink (my clear OO liquid soap, and 2 soap bars on a shared dish).

Whenever my bars get too small, I stuff them all into my nylon soap saver bag to use as a foot scrubber (so that none of the little slivers go to waste). I keep it on its own dish in my shower (out of any water spray).

I don't have the time to take pics of them all right now, but I'll see about adding a few later.

The soap thingy in my shower looks like Jules, except all my soap slivers are brown, mostly nag champa and cedar and saffron ends. But I do have two actual soap dishes that I love. Being a soapmaker, I always have my eyes open for attractive and functional soap dishes. The first is my latest one, it's by the kitchen sink with a big chunk of honey ale soap in it. The soap gets really good air circulation.

The second one is in the bathroom. I have a teeny weeny bathroom, and every inch of space is valuable. When I had the bathroom redone a couple of years ago, I needed a soap dish that would take up as little space as possible and was thrilled to find this one that attaches to the wall.....and it's frosted glass, I love frosted glass, so it was a win, win. That's what's left of a bar of my olive/avocado with activated charcoal swirl. I told you I was swirl challenged!
