lavender ideas

hi! I just got 32oz of lavender eo for next to nothing from someone who is quitting soap.(it came in a box of stuff) I am allergic to it, lol, and want to use it up quickly before it loses scent and so Im not exposing myself over and over to it. Ive made 6lb of lavender mint cp soap, not too sure how it will sell, so didn't make more.
What other combinations can I use? I want the scent to last, and MOVE! It bugs me just having it in my soap room.

Ive considered giving it (the soap)away as promo but don't want to continue making lavender in much --or putting it in 10ml jars to sell?

Lavender and lemon EO is a lovely combination.
Others are:
lavender & any type of citrus
lavender oatmeal
lavender & rosemary
lavender & ylang ylang

As for selling it in bottles, do you have all the information about the lavender from the original source? Is there a batch number or date so you know how old it is? Is the country of origin listed?

If you sell them but don't want to make them again sell them as a Limited Edition, while supplies last. That way you won't get people constantly asking for them. Lavender is a big seller and if you have a really nice combination you will have people ask for it so better to let them know up front not to get too attached to the scent!

I love lavender vanilla. I don't mix the two directly - instead, I seperate the soap and scent 1/2 with vanilla and 1/2 with lavender.

Honestly, if I was allergic I wouldn't want to work with it at all. Maybe you trade it with somebody?

what about lavender in itself? it is a pretty popular scent, at least with me it is, it is my no. 1 best seller scent. very popular with the ladies.

lavender and bergamot is also not bad.

With the lavender vanilla do you use vanilla FO? You can mix FO and EO?
I make two facial bars with lavender but its not very much, and I get a migraine with those. I might try a couple of these combinations and they try a trade the rest once Ive been overexposed.

I love the lavender! If I had to choose only one EO to keep on hand, it would have to be lavender! I cannot imagine soaping without lavender. Most of my ladies friends love lavender and so are my girls. My kids tell me all the time that lavender scent reminds me .

For brand new recipe, I try it out with lavender EO - can't go wrong.

I love lavender itself in soap but also love following combination:

Lavender + Tea tree
Lavender + Bergamot(& any citrus EOs)
Lavender + ylang ylang
Lavender + peppermint

How about using lavender in body balm, body oil, baby powder, and even in lip balm? Possibilities are endless with lavender, IMO!
