My name is Alice and i'm new to making soap for just friends and family, i've made some melt and pour and been dabbling in some cold process . So far some of my batches have been okay but others not soo good, I think I might of have miscalculated. But i'm having fun, hope I can learn to make some better ones from my more experienced soap masters, thanks for hearing me out. Have a great soap day

Thanks for making me feel welcome . I forgot to mention that i'm going to try and make hot process soap tonight wish me luck, I'll try to post some pics, if I can get my kids to help.

Welcome, I love fooling around with the numbers on SoapCalc to try and come up with the best product. I think by looking at the oil and butter descriptions to see what each adds, one can come up with a good original recipe.

Thanks everyone I am hoping to learn alot from everyone experience, I am also trying out with HP method. I did a recipe in CP with coconut milk that came out great, but when I tried doing it HP the coconut milk turn brown even though I froze it. Does anyone know why that might have happen? Could use some advice on the matter and would appreciate it.
