Is m&p harder to cut than cp or hp?

I bought a soap cutting box and altered it to make it also a log splitter to trim the uneven tops of my m&p bars. I used the recommended 16 (gauge?) guitar string and everything, but it won't hardly cut. Am I doing something wrong?

Yes. Much harder! Wire cutters just don't do well against melt and pour.

Nope, wire cutters generally won’t cut MP.

I think indidual cavity molds are best for M&P.

If you use a loaf mold for m&p, then you need to use either a very sharp knife or miter box and pastry cutter with it. The wire cutter will not work, unfortunately.
