I am making some OO infused with lemon/lime plus a little ginger.

Question = can I use this OO in place of the oil asked for in a recipe? Has anyone had luck with using "homemade" infused OO in a recipe? So I would just replace the OO with the infused OO.

I am still trying to find castor oil and coconut oil here in Ecuador and not having much luck! I have tried Pharmacies and Supermarkets - next stop is a "herbal" shop I just heard about = wish me luck.

Lard was also a challenge - I found lard with garlic or onion = yuck for soap! I 'think' I just bought some - the man in the store said it was from pigs ROFL - so I hope it really is (doesn't say on the label).

THANKS in advance with any tips on using the infused oil (I have lavender and roses plus the citrus growing in my yard).....

Yes, you can. I have used oil infused with calendula, chamomile, lavender, rosemary, etc... just use in place of plain olive (or whatever oil you infuse with) in your recipe. :)
