Okay so it's been more than a week since I rebatched my salt bars. Now they are sweating like they're trying to loose weight. I put my bars on paper to cure them and they have soaked the paper. Any ideas on what's happening and will they be okay?

What type of salt did you use? Dead Sea Salt with all the minerals will do that and Epson Salt is not recommended at all. Are they leaking oil from a high superfat or sweating. Salt bars can leak oil for several days

I used regular fine grain sea salt. It does feel a bit oily so maybe that's it.

I just thought it was the nature of salt bars to sweat in any amount of humidity. I had it happen with mine during the summer months and they are still fine. Now that I've moved to a less humid area they aren't sweating now. I just blot them every now and then with a paper towel so the water doesn't sit there on them.
