I'm in despair :-(

Well, the last couple of batches I did were really out of proportion. I didn't have enough lye in my recipe. I used MMS lye calc, but then I lost the recipe and THOUHGT I remembered it enough to make soap. Anyway, my last batches are REALLY soft, and I am wondering if there's anything I can do to save them. I don’t' want to throw them out! :cry:

if you know exactly what is in the soap, and you know exactly what SHOULD have been in the soap you may be able to rebatch and add in the missing stuff.

Thanks Carebear, the only thing I was missing was about 3 oz of lye...can I really re-batch and add more lye?

you can, if you grate and "melt" the soap really well and add in the lye solution. be careful. mix well.
