DH is going to being the process of removing our tennis court.
Some guy came by last night and bought the tennis ball launcher and Kevin gave him the net, too!

I'm so excited. Think of the garden I can plant next year!

The downside is that the kids are having a Last Hurrah Party and most all of the skaters from years past are coming over this weekend for their final skate.

For the past 7 years no one was playing tennis, so we let the boys turn it into a skateboard park, quarter pipes, rails and stairs.
You can't imagine how LOUD 20 kids skateboarding at one time can be!

So skateboard park, tennis court, whatever, the 12ft high fence comes down in the next few days. Followed by light poles and then in comes the bobcat!

Demo. My new favorite word.

We are planning a garden next year as well.
I am rooting for (pun intended) lavender and calendula and somewhere down the line, olive trees! We have 7.5 acres so there is plenty of room.

7.5 Acres would be nice! I live smack in the middle of a small town. I like being close to everything, but sometimes it's a little too neighborly... KWIM? LOL

aaaaw Im trying to rent space in someone elses yard lol... i want to start a garden but live in a little 550 sqft apt with my girl now which is good and bad...

I really want to have some land... I cant wait until the day...

Im moving next month, from a flat to a house with a biiig yard, heaps of room for chooks and vegies,so I'll dedicate a plot to you Ian.Will call it Ian's corner. Not quite the same as digging around in the dirt yourself but at least you can say you have a garden! All the way across the world in sunny Queensland....

Yeah, it's half an hour to the nearest small town, and two hours to the nearest city, so we pay a price. That's why we need a garden as well, saving on gas money (and time).

My dream is to make my own olive oil but I doubt that will happen.

Neighbors? Well, one neighbor almost starved his 5 horses to death until the cops warned him off. I had nightmares until his horses started gaining weight again, so even out here we have troublesome neighbors.
