I made hot process soap with a cup of sugar mixed in, if I remember, just before molding. They are nice bars, but a little sticky. Not like candy sticky... just slightly tacky, really. Great thing is, they are over a year old, no DOS and the scent is still strong.
I'm not sure of when I added it because I'm not in front of my recipes right now. But, just before molding would make sense.

Tried one! didn't do the kid here since I'm not a fan of hp or rebatching so tried to wing it another way. No idea if it will work but they are solid and out of molds.
Used a recipe I know works and added a touch more Shea and the sugar.
