@Anstarx Whoops, sorry, thought you were asking Kiwi. Yes, there is a mix of Bulk Apothecary, Midwest Fragrance Co and BrambleBerry.

I swear, I can't decide if the most fun part about making soap is thinking about the design, cutting the loaf, or receiving new fragrances! It's a three-way tie for me!
Oh I'm sorry! I just answered without thinking. I'm sorry for answering for you!

This thread is calling me out, LOL. I always have a bunch of plans for fragrances like soap, candles, sugar scrubs, bath bombs, etc. I get distracted and end up with a horde of fragrances that I forget I have, which leads me to order more. Then, I remember the plans I had before when I go to put all of them away. Ugh.

I think the only help we can provide here is enabling. It is truly an addiction for me. Plus right now the only place I get my fragrances from is Candora (since it is in my city), and their showroom "sniffing section" is still closed to the public. So buying by descriptions is my only excuse.
Hi. I’m Nicole and I’m an addict.

OH MAN, I hear ya. I just received my SECOND large order of EOs (with a few FOs thrown in) within a month! Because I pay a lot for shipping, I figure I may as well add in a few more items, and then the order explodes. BUT the most annoying thing is that on BOTH orders I forgot to include the rosemary oil that I really really need! So maybe a 3rd purchase is coming up. My basement is filled with brown bottles and it’s not beer.
When I started out to make “a couple batches of soap“ last February, I had no idea this new hobby was going to be so expensive. Or time/thought consuming. Or frustrating*. Or FUN!
*frustrating because I tried to make the November soapmakers challenge yesterday. And failed. 😢😢😢. What a gong show.

Right there with ya girlfriend!

@Nicolesica - WOW! I would never buy such big bottles. You must make a lotta soap. I always buy a 30ml or 50ml if it's my first time buying, and then if it becomes a favourite the biggest i ever buy is 100ml. I recent just bought 2 x 100ml bottles of white tea because it's my favourite - the next size up was 500ml and I knew it would probably go off before I could use it all.
30ml = 1 ounce
50ml = 1.69 ounces
100ml = 3.38 ounces
500ml = 16.9 ounces

Lordy i hate those awful measurements y'all use - they're such odd numbers!

I have a bad habit of going "Oh, it's just one more fragrance." or "Oh, but it's on sale." or "Well, it'll save me an order later." while compiling my cart at a soap supplier where I was buying non-fragrance items.

I had just pared down my fragrances too and well, like the Hydra, cut off one head, two more shall take its place.

To be fair, I did inherit a few of these bottles, but… I actually soap to feed my fragrance addiction.

That's probably why I held back buying mine. All the new ones are only 30ml or 500ml, for some reason there is no 100ml which I would have bought. 30 ml is not enough, I need 50 ml for a batch. I do have quite a few 500ml bottles to get through. You could only get 1× 30ml of each in the sale.
