Today is our town's biggest yearly event: "Derrick Days." Which refers to oil (derrick) wells. We get 8,000+ downtown for the festival. Last night 80 mile an hour winds whipped through the area. A poprta-a-potty (set up for the event) got knocked over & missed the hubby's classic Cutlas (which was in the car show today) by maybe 1/2 inch. We lost a couple windows. We did not get too much damage but some people lost huge trees, multiple windows, signage, awnings, etc.
The festival did go on. We had great weather all day long.
I bought soap from 2 diff out-a-town soapmakers. I got a bar of orange clove from "Dorothy Joe" and a bar of lavender, patchouli, ylang form "Blue Moon." I just can't help myself when I see vegan CP.
