I made the Anne's shea butter supreme soap from her book..
My husband made the Lye solution and of course he had to do things his own way...lol..but it came out creamy and beautiful like butter...
I realized that the mold I had gotten was to big so it ended up in smaller rubbermaid individual serving bowls..I hope that doesn't make it turn out wrong somehow..
I never realized how badly you could miscalculate how hard it would be to get the solid fats out of their jars. The Shea butter was horrible, but by the time I got to the coconut oil I realized (Duh) that I could just heat it for a few seconds in the microwave. Had to compensate measurements because I was two ounces short on the shea and they don't tell you that the coconut oil bottle might say 10.5 ounces but its actually an ounce less than that...So there's more olive oil to compensate..I hope it still comes out okay..
It looks beautiful, so I'm hopeful
