Hi! I stumbled into this forum recently and I can't tell you how much I've learned already!
I guess I'm a newbie although I've been making soap for awhile. My mom made goat's milk soap for years and I always gave her a hand. She retired from it some time ago. Her kids, now grown and living from AK to TX have always requested her soap. This spring I realized that her enormous stash has dwindled to almost nothing and decided that I would pick up the slack. I thought I'd experiment with her recipe and stumbled into a new world of soapmaking! I averaged a new recipe every couple of days until funds and space became an issue, so I've had to slow down...a little.
I continually have questions, but find many of them get answered before I even ask them. Thanks for all the info so far and I'm excited to learn more!
