I have 100% CO salt bars made with coconut milk and scented with coconut lime that I just had to try tonight even though they aren't quite ready. I just have to say WOW! They lather was super creamy and felt wonderful.
Anyone looking for a way to add some creaminess, try the coconut milk, you won't be disappointed.

I have made some but yet to try. So glad for good review on it though. :) what kind did u use?
I've ended up making my own lately with dried coconut but used the canned and boxed room temp kind before. Not sure if they will be as good as yours though.
We need to trade again. Haha!
Btw - did u get my recipe I sent?

I used canned, can't remember what brand it is. I think I'll keep using it in salt bars and I might try a bastile with it too.

I'm always up for another trade. I think these salt bars are better then the other one you got from me, the scent is just fantastic. I am a bit dry though, my skin does not like young soap of any kind. Another month and they should be near perfect.
I did get your recipe, thank you. I'll have to try it as soon as I can track down some palm or maybe I'll replace it with lard.

I'm kinda burned out on making soap right. I have to force myself to make some tomorrow to replace that black mess I made today.

It'll be awesome to try! Fresh coconut milk and commercial ones are extremely cheap and widely available here.

Canned coconut milk, if used in place of all of your water, will up your effective superfat as much as 8%. That extra superfat will make the bar feel more conditioning despite the fact that many people find coconut oil to be drying in soap.

I find that salt bars are even better after a 3-4 month cure. You are in for a treat.

I love salt bars and alway make them with some kind of milk (goats, coconut, buttermilk or cream) and they are wonderful to use. I also make some with 85% Coconut, 10 % Avocado and 5% Shea Butter and it makes a lovely bar too.
