First... mods, I'm not quite sure where to post this because it involves both cold process soap and m&p. If you think it should be moved, please, feel free.
So... I want to combine cp soap with some m&p. (I've never worked with m&p) Basically the m&p will be a layer on the top (or bottom, as the case may be) of the cp soap. Would it be best to pour the m&p on the top of the freshly poured cp soap batter? Or should I wait for the cp soap has set a bit or after it has finished saponifying? Or, this is another option, should I pour the m&p into the mold first, wait for it to solidify and then pour my cp batter?
I've been doing some research but haven't really found a satisfactory answer. Any insight from you more experienced soapers?
