I poured the m&p first, a layer about 3/4" thick, spritzed it generously with rubbing alcohol, then poured the cp soap. I think, in retrospect, that I probably poured the cp a little on the cool side and kept it cool. Heck, I propped it in a snow bank (which I'm hoping disappears really soon.. I'm ready for spring!).

If nothing else, this is an experiment and I'm learning a lot. That is not a bad thing.

Well, I didn't get to try it on Saturday; I was in bed all day with a migraine. I'm trying it today. My oils and lye are cooling right now, the alcohol is on standby and my oven is warm. Keeping my fingers crossed.
