Today, I tried something different that worked really well. I mixed up a new batch of soap in the crock pot and after I blended the lye into the oils I added my rebatch and blended that in before the cook. It turned out beautifully!

I've been doing exactly that for a little more than a year. I will never go back to the traditional rebatch methods.
Sometimes I also just shred my ugly soap into a regular batch of CP for a confetti look.

Mine was all gloppy and gross, too! I thought I would put my mixer in there like for whipped soap, but I burned it out! and now the mixer is broken! I'm sad.
