WOW!!! Those soaps look fantastic. You're right it is like marble. I love it.

Thanks guys and special thank you to Val for sweetly bearing with and helping me through the how-to-post-pics debacle - I think I know how to do it now, and I think it has something to do with my pc - cos I can no longer put pics in my blog either - I must have accidentally hit some button or other. ANYHOWS - thank you all so much for the support!

So cool, what kind of color did you use? it lloks purple then turned out gray? love it, good job.

How did you get the color swirls, pour from high up? then stir, i love this soap.

I mixed about teaspoons worth of activated charcoal powder (get at any health store or pharmacy) with a little bit of melted coconut oil into a slurry
when the soap mixture came to a thick trace (though next time I will reserve soap mix at thin trace) I scooped some out and blended in the charcoal mix.

Then I merely poured the soap (not very high at all at about from the top of the mould) in glops one on top of the other and stirred in the mould (one quick stir with a spoon) and then ran through in criss-cross "S" patterns with a chop stick. In retrospect I think I stirred it too much cos it started blending into a grey hue.

I'm afraid bad lighting in my office gave it the purple hue - it was black, but it seems to be lightening to a grey colour now!
