Sooooo I'm looking at those ingredients and that pic and all Im thinking is "Whats a dude gotta do to get one of them bars?"

I don't advertise anything since I don't sell my soap. I do this for myself and my family. I call it a luxury bar because it's very conditioning, mild, and creamy. :)

The FO is BB's Cucumber Melon.

Thank you everyone for your encouraging words.

I amend my note, had forgotten you don't sell and don't advertise. And yes, your ingredients are lovely - especially the mango butter, luxury bar it is! :)

I used to do HP and I would think it would dry out and harden during whipping unless you had an awful lot of liquid in the batch. And adding extra liquid isn't such a good idea, because the soap will take forever to harden and will warp.

This would be my guess too. I use a potato masher for HP. It mashes really nicely, you can get a pretty smooth consistency. I also mix in a bit of sodium lactate just before I scoop it into the molds, find it really does help smooth it out.

I'm lost- why would you use a potato masher for HP?

If I recall a lot of people like to use it because its an easier way to mash down the HP soap when it starts to volcano and turn into itself in addition to mush out any lumps. :)

Oh I see..I never have lumpy hp I can pour it most of the time. If the HP is so lumpy that you have to use a potato masher then you are cooking at too high of a temp. Crockpots are notorious for being too hot. Thanks for letting me know- I was racking my brain trying to figure out why. LOL
