Selling soaps and lotions to stores wholesale can feel scary at first. I know I felt that way when I started selling.
Most stores want to buy local now. Whole Foods, Trader Joes really want new products from local area.
Before you see the buyer, make sure you have the following:

1. Price Sheet for the buyer- who will pay shipping?
2. Product Promotions for the year - each month and percentages the stores gets
3. All marketing brochures for the customers
4. A business card

Absolutely true - I have just gone through this with the Oversaitea Group (Save-On Foods) as they have picked up my natural shampoo bars and hair conditioner. Something else you are going to need is to be a member of GS1 in order to get your UPC codes. Even though there are cheaper places to get them these won't be accepted and you will end up having to go through GS1 in the end. Membership (Canada) is $500 a year + tax. Have it set up and ready to go if you want to play with the big kids...
