I have been racking my brains out for weeks on end and cannot work it out can anyone help please

You're trying to do the UK Flag? On what?

Like when you cut it you would see the flag?

Big yes thats what I am trying to make

I would guess that the blue white and red quadrants were made first, in a small square log mold tilted onto its corner. Then one big red rectangle log for the middle, and two slender ones for the sides (or two long red squares and one wide slender for the horizontal) then stack and fit them all together in a log mold with white in between. But just guessing - its a fun puzzle.
