How to make my soaps dark and glossy?

I am making a dark brown, chocolate scented soap. I added dark brown mica to it, but it still didn't end up as dark or shiny as I wanted. I want it to look like dark chocolate. Any suggestions?

HP or CP? you can add a little black to brown to make it darker. For shine for HP soaps, I dunk the bars in water just once after they are unmolded and let them dry.

CP. When you say add black, do you mean mica or activated charcoal? I want to try HP next. Thanks for the tip!

Either will work. You can also dip your CP in water.

When I make my Double Chocolate soap, I add a square of unsweetened dark baking chocolate to the entire batch (1000 grams of oil) and to half of it, I add about 1 tsp. unsweetened Dutch process cocoa. The part with just the baking chocolate looks like milk chocolate and the part with the added cocoa looks like dark chocolate. And then, just to drive people crazy, I scent it with Chocolate Fudge and Peppermint.
