Most of the people who use my products understand what Essential Oils are and they know that I use them sometimes and sometimes not. More and more I find myself blending them with fragrance oils.

I feel perfectly happy using manufactured scents and colorants and I don't feel the need to restrict myself or apologize for it. But I want to be clear about this when people ask and I don't like saying that fragrance oils are "artificial" fragrances compared to the "natural" fragrances of essential oils. I don't like either of those words.

Does anyone have a better way to describe the difference in simple terms for the average consumer?

I like saying... what I use are cosmetic grade fragrance oils that are made to be skin safe! Something like that.

(I just remember the first time I heard "cosmetic grade" it made me feel safer... that way it wasn't the same as going and buying some fo off the store shelf at Michael's...)
