How much salt until crumbly?

Curiosity more than anything, but how much salt can you add to a batch based on PPO until it starts to be required to cut within a few hours? I know it is less than 20% for sure as I dealt with that amount last week.

Hardener more than anything.

As a hardener you do not need to add much - 1tsp PPO will do the job.

As and stated 1 tsp ppo should be plenty. Too much will inhibit the lather.

You dissolve your salt in the liquid before you add the NaOH.

Not done a test to see the difference but I do know that a lot of people use both. I don't use sodium lactate anymore after I ran out of my first 100ml. I find I don't need it.

Dissolve the salt in your water before adding lye. I use sodium lactate mostly. I use one or the other. Not both.

Thank you Shunt 2011 and Dawni. As I posted in another thread, I've been having difficulty getting the soap in the bottom of my small silicone loaf mold to harden before it comes out of the mold. I'll see if adding some salt will help.
